Behavioral Health Manager

About the RoleAs the Outpatient Pediatric Behavioral Health Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a range of crisis and residential treatment services for youth. You will lead a dynamic team and service delivery to help the youth in our community. This management role is responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of a grant from the Michigan Hospital Association to expand pediatric behavioral health services for Munson Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the delivery of Outpatient Behavioral Health clinical day-to-day operations, including practice standards, staffing, quality improvement, and outcomes.
- Keep Practice Administrator and other Leadership team members informed of activities, decisions, and assignments as appropriate.
- Lead Clinic meetings related to clinical care and other team meetings within the clinic.
- Provide periodic clinical back-up coverage as needed for consistent patient care.

- Master's degree in a human services field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling, nursing).
- State of Michigan Counseling License required with either LMSW (License Master's Social Worker) or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) or Registered Nurse.
- Two years of experience in the field of behavioral health is required, five years preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in substance use disorders, mental health treatment concepts, and applications, including evidence-based practices.
- Experience with clinical supervision of behavioral health treatment staff in a healthcare setting.
