We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Swanzey, New Hampshire and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for an individual passionate about helping students develop their communication and language skills.
Position OverviewIn this position, you will work alongside experienced professionals to create a supportive learning environment for students of all ages. Your key responsibilities will include assisting in conducting speech and language assessments, collaborating with speech-language pathologists to develop treatment plans, providing one-on-one or group therapy sessions, monitoring student progress, and communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and team members.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy sessions to students individually or in groups
- Monitor student progress and track data
- Maintain effective communication with parents, teachers, and team members
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- New Hampshire SLPA licensure or eligibility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with students and helping them succeed
