Lakeland University seeks a dedicated Mathematics and Statistics Professor to join our faculty. As an Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Statistics, you will teach introductory and upper-level undergraduate courses within the mathematics, statistics, and data science programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach 24 credits per academic year with 50% comprised of introductory mathematics courses
  • Advise students as assigned
  • Coordinate student internships and Co-Op experiences in mathematics and data science
  • Work with division chair and deans to identify adjunct instructors for mathematics and data sciences programs

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science is required
  • Successful teaching experience in higher education is preferred
  • Experience with Python and R programming languages and AI technologies is also preferred
