We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical support in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities- Observe and interpret cardiac rhythms of patients on monitor equipment.
- Run and post rhythm strips at designated intervals to ensure accurate patient data.
- Validate computer readouts and compare posted strips to previous strips to identify changes in cardiac rhythm.
- Verify lead placement on patients and notify nursing staff of any changes.
- Test equipment for proper working order and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist with a strong understanding of patient safety and precautions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cooperatively with other employees.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and ability to interpret EKG readings.
