Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Water Gap Wellness. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Complete client admission process, including assessment of client's physical and psychological status during intoxication, withdrawal, and stabilization.
  • Provide nursing care, including vital signs, administering and noting response to medication, first aid, specimen collection for lab work, and infection control/assessment.
  • Monitor and document client progress and make required referrals to physician or emergency services, including crisis intervention.
  • Develop individual client treatment plans and provide input regarding clients' needs, performance, and progress, and provide client health education.
  • Complete and maintain all documentation, such as medication records/reports, progress notes, client files, charting logbooks, chart audits, and inventories of medical supplies.
  • Receive and transcribe doctor orders.
Qualifications
  • Valid nursing license from the state of PA.
  • RN/LPN certification, AA or BS in a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Venipuncture and TB skin testing experience, current CPR, AED, and first aid.
  • Experience in addiction, mental health, and behavioral health.
  • Experience with administering medication.
