Job Summary

Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer II to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of echocardiograms, including transthoracic and transesophageal studies, as well as stress echocardiograms and other advanced procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and other cardiovascular imaging procedures with precision and accuracy
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to provide excellent customer service
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification
  • Three years of experience as a cardiac sonographer, with at least two years in a hospital setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
