This is a full-time opportunity as a Clinical Dietitian with Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As a registered dietitian, you will provide evidence-based nutrition counseling to patients on modified diets.

Your responsibilities will include conducting nutritional screenings and assessments of patients, collaborating with physicians to coordinate and implement nutritional recommendations, identifying and communicating potential nutritional implications of medications, and documenting this information in patients' records.

You will also notify the FNS Dietary Aides which patient foods are allowed and disallowed based on the prescribed diet.

• Bachelors degree with a major in dietetics, food and nutrition, food service systems management or a related area that meets the requirements of the American Dietetic Association is required.
• Registered through the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required.
• Current state licensure (if mandated by law) is required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• Applicant must be eligible and willing to sit for CDE exam within 2 years of hire date and/or first eligible exam.
• Minimum of 1 year of dietitian experience is required.
