About the Opportunity: KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a large hospital setting located in a beautiful area with ample opportunities for outdoor recreation.
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced APRN or Nurse Practitioner to provide 80% outpatient therapy services, including new evaluations, follow-up appointments, and medication management for adult and adolescent patients. The remaining 20% of the time will be dedicated to providing medication-assisted treatment for patients struggling with opioid use disorder.
About the Role: As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at our hospital, you will work in a collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team, including medical doctors, to provide comprehensive care to patients. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and monitoring patient progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient therapy setting
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage medications, including those for opioid use disorder
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in psychiatric nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A license to practice as an APRN or Nurse Practitioner in the state of employment is required.

Estimated Salary: Based on industry standards and the location of the hospital, we estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $120,000-$150,000, depending on experience.
