We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Backroom Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of merchandise and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing of merchandise
- Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles
- Communicate effectively with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor
- Monitor productivity of team and coach as necessary
- Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment
- Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards
- Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs
- 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking and responding to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player with ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors
- Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
