Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC/R Field Service Technician to join our team at PEAK Technical Staffing. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services to our clients in the data center industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support via phone and in-person visits to clients' data centers
  • Coordinate with Field Service Coordinators to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
  • Review technical information and prepare for scheduled service visits
  • Minimize costs to the company from service and warranty transactions
  • Document all service activity and submit reports in a timely manner
  • Provide follow-up documentation to clients after site visits
  • Report expenses accurately and promptly
  • Maintain vehicle inventory as necessary
  • Be available for overtime and off-hour assignments
  • Attend Product Training sessions as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma and 2-3 years of trade school education in HVAC/R and related areas
  • Journeyman License for HVAC or equivalent license
  • Years of related experience in the HVAC/R industry
  • Type II EPA certification for the handling and reclamation of refrigerants
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
  • OSHA Training
Preferred Qualifications
  • Years of experience in commercial/industrial based HVAC/R
  • Non-Licensed Journeyman/Master HVAC trade license
Language Skills
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions
  • Ability to speak effectively with employees of the organization
  • Ability to work from verbal instruction
