About the Role:

Anew Hospice is seeking a skilled Music Therapist to join our team. As a Music Therapist, you will have the opportunity to provide therapeutic music services to our clients, assessing their emotional well-being and social functioning to develop a personalized care plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement music therapy treatments to regulate intentional motor movements and melodies.
  • Assist in stimulating brain function through music and rhythm.
  • Help clients develop social, communication, and motor skills through music and rhythm.
  • Use evidence-based therapy treatments to improve communication, body awareness, and control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy or a related field.
  • Board Certification in Music Therapy.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in music therapy, preferably in a hospice or palliative care setting.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Dependable vehicle and willingness to travel between locations.
