Position Overview:

Due to substantial growth in the southern region for ENT services, we are expanding our physician coverage. This role involves a blend of operating room and clinic responsibilities. Typically, physicians allocate 2.5 to 3 days for clinic work and 1.5 days for surgical procedures once the practice is established. Participation in the call rotation is expected, with surgeries performed at designated medical facilities. **No nighttime or weekend call is required.**

Surgical Responsibilities:

All ENT specialists perform general procedures, including ear tubes, tonsillectomies, and adenoidectomies, with the option to focus on specific areas such as sinus or ear surgeries based on personal preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide comprehensive medical care for patients with conditions affecting the head and neck, including the ears, nose, throat, and related systems.
• Deliver education and develop treatment plans for patients and their families.
• Provide care in various settings, including outpatient clinics and inpatient facilities.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency in Otolaryngology.
• Valid medical license from the MN Board of Medical Practice upon hire.
• ACLS-BLS certification required within 180 days of employment.

Physical Requirements:
Medium Work: Lifting up to 32 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently, in accordance with Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy.
