**Job Overview**

At AMIkids, we are seeking an experienced Senior Director to lead our risk management efforts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the organization's financial and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and Oversee Risk Management Functions: Manage risk management, insurance, safety, claims, and litigation for AMIkids.
  • Captive Insurance Expertise: Optimize captive insurance structures to ensure cost-effective risk financing, oversee captive feasibility studies, formation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Evaluate retention levels, policy structures, and reinsurance arrangements to minimize organizational liability and financial risk.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with brokers, actuaries, and legal advisors to maximize captive benefits and ensure compliance with insurance regulations.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Oversee reporting, financial statements, and audits for captive entities, maintain relationships with regulators and industry groups to stay ahead of emerging trends.
  • Security and Confidentiality: Oversee the collection and maintenance of claims data and records, coordinate the development of periodic and ad hoc loss data reports and analyses.
  • Policy Development: Review and assist in the preparation of applications for insurance coverage, prepare various analyses to assist CFO and Controller in developing cost of risk factors.
  • Compliance and Governance: Act as HIPAA Compliance Officer and Public Records Custodian for AMIkids, develop and maintain relationships with current and future potential Property and Casualty Brokers, Lawyers, Third Party Administrators, etc.
  • Special Projects: Implement and enforce policy and procedural changes to reduce organizational liability and financial risk, may travel for work-related duties, and assist with special projects as assigned.
