About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiology Specialist to join our team in Columbia, SC as a locum tenens opportunity. This position offers a chance to work with a dynamic healthcare facility while enjoying a great balance of professional growth and personal fulfillment.
Job Highlights
- Estimated Annual Salary:$250,000 - $300,000 based on experience and location
- Clinical Setting:Inpatient care with a focus on Nurse Anesthesia
- Shift Schedule:10 hours shifts, 40 hours per week with occasional call from home for added cases
- Call Schedule:1 weekday call and 1 weekend call every 5 weeks or 3 days per month
- Patient Demographics:12 years old and above
- Average Cases per Day:30 inclusive of out-of-OR cases
Case Mix:Ortho, Spines, GYN, Eyes, Plastics, and General OR cases, with potential out-of-OR coverage for GI, CV/TEE, and MRI cases.
Facility Information:The facility features 11 ORs, including an Endo Suite, and uses Epic EMR system.
Requirements:
- Licensure:Active SC License
- Certifications:NBCRNA, BLS, ACLS, & PALS
- Experience:At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
