Founding Veterinarian Partner

We are seeking an experienced veterinarian to join our team as a Partner and Lead Veterinarian at Livewell Animal Hospital of Bethesda. As a key member of our leadership team, you will have the opportunity to build a strong client-first and collaborative practice culture, hire and manage hospital staff, and deliver exceptional patient care.

• Build a strong client-first and collaborative practice culture
• Hire and manage hospital staff, including a hospital manager, veterinary technician, and other support staff
• Deliver excellent patient care and ongoing evaluation and management of clinical practices
• Ensure doctors effectively communicate with clients and educate them on preventative care
• Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and keep necessary logs up-to-date
• Monitor associate doctor performance and stay up-to-date with changes in veterinary medicine through continuing education
• Partner with the Hospital Manager in managing hospital financial performance
• Positively represent the hospital in the professional and local community
