Tax Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our team at D'Arcangelo & Co., LLP. As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting our team in planning and preparing various tax returns, including individual, business, and trust returns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing tax returns and financial statements
• Conduct research using internet-based tools and communicate results orally and/or written
• Display a basic understanding of professional standards, GAAP, and tax laws/rules
• Assume responsibility for completing work accurately and on a timely basis

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 150 credit hours or working toward the 150 hours for CPA eligibility in New York State
• CPA (or actively preparing for the CPA examination)
• 0 - 2 years' experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects, be organized, dependable, prioritize, and follow Firm policies/procedures

Salary $50,000 to $60,000 based on education/CPA eligibility, CPA certification, and years of experience.
