Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Good Day Cafe. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our customers.

• Develop and implement menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
• Ensure the kitchen is equipped with necessary tools and equipment to maintain efficiency and productivity
• Prepare and present dishes that meet our high standards of quality and presentation
• Supervise and delegate tasks to other team members to ensure seamless kitchen operations
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and restock as needed to prevent stockouts
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures to ensure a smooth operation

• Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
• ServeSafe or Food Handler's Certification is required
• Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes is essential
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure is crucial
• Excellent time management skills are necessary to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
