Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technician to join our team at University Hospital. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality medical images and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain various imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, and MRI machines.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Produce high-quality medical images, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
Requirements
  • ARRT certification and KY State License.
  • 2+ years of experience in radiology or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of radiology principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Level 1 trauma experience.
  • Knowledge of EMR systems, such as Cerner and McKesson.
