Work Schedule: Standard business hours, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the laboratory.
- Ensure accurate performance of laboratory tests and timely reporting of results.
- Directly manage, train, and mentor laboratory staff.
- Monitor workflow and ensure adequate staffing for all shifts.
- Investigate and resolve production discrepancies, escalating issues as necessary.
- Engage in ongoing process improvements and service enhancements.
- Maintain equipment through rigorous Quality Control measures.
- Prepare and uphold Quality Assurance documentation.
- Evaluate and recommend new process improvements.
- Conduct regular meetings with team members for coaching and feedback.
- Perform technical operations as needed to maintain proficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Administer and enforce laboratory policies and procedures.
- Manage payroll and personnel documentation.
- Handle administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
- Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Certification from ASCP or AMT is preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards.
- Proficient in Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
- Able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical capability to meet job demands.
