Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Ridgeland, MS. The successful candidate will assist with the management and coordination of multiple commercial construction projects, communicating directly with the Project Manager, Project Superintendent, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare project schedules and assist with the buyout process of subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Coordinate efforts between the general contractor, subcontractor, and material procurement
  • Complete submittals and RFI's, and approve vendor bills electronically for project costs
  • Assist the Project Manager as directed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction/engineering or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience
  • Two (2+) years' experience in construction, design, finance, and management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Efficiency in Microsoft Office and other construction software
  • Ability to lead team members and interpret construction documents
