About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. As a key member of our civil trial practice, you will be responsible for defending State Farm against insurance-related claims in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties.

Responsibilities
  • Defend State Farm against insurance-related claims in civil trials
  • Conduct research and develop strategies for case defense
  • Work closely with support staff to manage caseload and ensure timely resolution of cases
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance law and regulations
Requirements
  • Active license to practice law in Florida and membership in good standing with the Florida Bar
  • 3+ years of legal experience, preferably in insurance defense
  • Jury trial experience in civil or criminal law
  • Strong automation and technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation
  • Experience working in a paperless electronic environment
