Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in the Division of Pediatric Psychiatry and Psychology. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing team to expand psychology-related services within our Sleep Medicine program.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat behavioral sleep concerns in children, including insomnia, nightmare disorders, and circadian rhythm disorders.
- Collaborate with the Sleep Medicine team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
- Engage in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical outcomes research.
- Train pediatric psychology trainees, pediatric residents, and pediatric fellows in developmental behavioral pediatrics and child psychiatry.
- Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical psychology with a child or pediatric emphasis.
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship with a child or pediatric emphasis.
- License eligibility in the State of Ohio.
- Strong interest in the practice of evidence-based pediatric psychology.
