POSITION: Photography Intern – Part Time

REPORTS TO: Digital Marketing Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Photography Intern will play a vital role in supporting the product and content teams by facilitating communication, managing product samples, validating information, collecting product attributes, and creating, processing, and organizing photography assets. This role also involves auditing and refining existing product content across various platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in reading, interpreting, and manipulating data in Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
  • Basic photography skills with a keen attention to detail in multi-step workflows.
  • Familiarity with image editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) to enhance visual quality and ensure consistency (training available, though prior editing experience is preferred).
  • Ability to independently evaluate tasks and challenges, identifying suitable methods and tools to address them.
  • Adaptability to changing objectives and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach and a commitment to exceeding expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Capture high-quality images of products using professional photography equipment.
  • Organize and manage the digital asset management system for efficient storage and retrieval of images.
  • Meet project deadlines while managing multiple tasks effectively, showcasing strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Assist product and content teams with photography and data processing requirements.
  • Collaborate with content teams to ensure timely readiness of new products for launch.
  • Audit and improve product interchange information.
  • Support internal teams with product specifications (weights, dimensions, data).
  • Contribute to marketing efforts by assisting with product literature, advertising, and training materials.
  • Help in updating and analyzing competitive content.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma required.
  • Preferred candidates pursuing a career in business or marketing.
  • Strong skills in Excel and Word.
  • Experience with photo creation and editing workflows is advantageous.
