Position Summary:
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Surgical Nurse First Assistant. This position plays a crucial role in assisting surgeons during surgical and invasive procedures, ensuring that the operating room is fully prepared for each procedure. The Surgical Nurse First Assistant will also monitor the inventory levels of surgical instruments and supplies, contributing to departmental meetings and performance enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons during operative procedures.
  • Ensure the operating suite is adequately prepared.
  • Monitor and maintain surgical instrument and supply levels.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications:
  • Preferred: RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assist) or CSFA (Certified Surgical First Assistant) Certification.
  • Current ACLS & BLS Certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the Operating Room as a Surgical Tech First Assist.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with variable shifts and on-call requirements across multiple locations.

Compensation:
The expected pay rate is $70.00 per hour, with a minimum of 30 hours expected per week.
