Qualifications:
- Completion of vocational or practical nursing program
- Active and valid practical nurse license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing
- Certification in BLS or CPR
- Proficiency in managing student-specific health care plans for both acute and chronic conditions
- Execute medical plans for students as prescribed by a physician or medical authority.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ARDC discussions regarding services.
- Regularly collaborate with the campus nurse to review student medical care and maintain daily logs and documentation for the District.
- Adhere to District nursing standards for eligible students.
- Complete and submit documentation of services prior to billing.
- Provide personal transportation as needed.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by administration.
