Mental Health Practitioner

As a Mental Health Specialist I at Samaritan Health Services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality outpatient mental health care to patients under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the delivery of comprehensive mental health services to individuals, families, and groups.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with licensed mental health professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on mental health issues and treatment options.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, or a related field.
- Experience working with mental health patients preferred.
- Qualified Mental Health Assistant experience preferred.
- Knowledge of human behavior and performance.
- Adaptability and flexibility in responding to situations with high-risk or diverse patient populations.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Basic understanding of medical records, procedures, and terminology.
