Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused General Merchandise Team Associate to join our team at Walmart. As a General Merchandise Team Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, and ensuring that our customers have an excellent shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and offering recommendations on merchandise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor by restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and removing trash and debris.
  • Ensure that all merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and objectives.

Requirements

To be successful as a General Merchandise Team Associate at Walmart, you will need:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • High school diploma or equivalent
