About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled Video Storyteller to join our team at Spectrum News. As a Video Storyteller, you'll work with a talented group of journalists to shoot and edit captivating content for our newscasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shoot and edit high-quality video footage for television news broadcasts
  • Collaborate with a team of journalists to develop compelling storylines and scripts
  • Operate ENG/SNG/Satellite vehicles and bonded cellular streaming equipment
  • Travel to local events to capture footage and conduct interviews

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in shooting and editing television news footage
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field, or comparable television work experience
  • Ability to work different shifts and be flexible with schedule changes
