Job Summary

At Texas Oncology, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team of radiation oncology specialists. As a Medical Physicist, you will play a critical role in the design, optimization, and delivery of radiation treatment plans for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize radiation treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy
  • Ensure the safe and accurate delivery of radiation treatment plans
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Participate in clinical, research, and educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in radiation oncology
  • Support the development and implementation of quality assurance programs to ensure the accuracy and safety of radiation treatment plans
Requirements
  • Master's degree or PhD in Physics or Medical Physics from an accredited college or university
  • ABR certification or completion of a CAMPEP-approved residency program
  • Working experience in a clinical environment
  • Texas Medical Board license
