Job Title: Nurse

New Season is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our team at the Grand Junction Metro Treatment Center. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in our outpatient treatment centers.

Job Summary:

The Nurse will work under the direction of our Medical Director or Registered Nurse to ensure the best care and support for our patients. This role involves direct patient contact, administering medication, conducting daily inventory, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medication pursuant to physician order and record dosage administered in the medical record.
  • Conduct daily inventory of medication supply and maintain absolute accuracy in accounting.
  • Collect fees and perform daily cash reconciliation.
  • Ensure proper disposal of medical waste.
  • Observe patient demeanor prior to dosing and contact other centers for dosage verification as needed.
  • Administer lab tests, including patient vital signs and TB tests, and collect data for review by the Medical Director or RN.
  • Schedule and screen patients for Medical Director appointments.
  • Assist Medical Director in collecting data for history and physical.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient medical paperwork and actively participate in CARF preparation and state audit process.
  • Interface with the public and patients by answering phones, greeting visitors, and monitoring patient activities.
Requirements:
  • Active LPN or RN license in the state of Colorado or multi-state.
  • Understanding of opiate addiction, medical terminology, general nursing knowledge, and techniques.
  • Basic mathematics skills and computer literacy, including Microsoft products.
  • Minimum of 1-year direct patient contact experience, with prior experience in the clinical environment preferred.
