Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture on Azure
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements to automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and redesign infrastructure for greater scalability
  • Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using SQL and Big Data technologies
  • Deliver automation and lean processes to ensure high-quality throughput and performance of the entire data and analytics platform
  • Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our analytics platforms
Requirements:
  • Experience in building and operating fault-tolerant and scalable data processing integrations using Azure
  • Strong problem-solving skills with emphasis on optimizing data pipelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
  • Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies
  • Experience using Docker or Kubernetes is a plus
  • Demonstrated capabilities with cloud infrastructures and multi-cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, and IBM cloud environments
  • Experience with Delta Lakes, Databricks, and Apache Spark
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory or Synapse Analytics
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
  • Experience with data visualization tools and technologies
