We are currently seeking a highly skilled Hospitalist Physician to join our dedicated team at USA Health. As a Hospitalist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our hospital. Your expertise in hospital medicine will enable you to collaborate effectively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Evaluating patients' medical needs and developing effective treatment plans.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in internal medicine or family medicine, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree is required, along with board certification or eligibility in internal medicine or family medicine. Credentialed by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners, you should also have experience with electronic medical records and proficiency in CPR/BLS.
