Job Summary

SSM Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and operate cameras that detect and map radioactive drugs in a patient's body to create diagnostic images.
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical factors accurately.
  • Order, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or completion of a Nuclear Medicine certification program.
  • No experience required.
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification or Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) certification and registration.
