Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist

LanceSoft is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care planning and decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant documentation.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Current RN license in the state of Idaho.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.
