Job Summary: Transportation Coordinator

The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of patients to and from the Radiology Department at Tidelands Health. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The estimated annual salary for this role is $38,000 - $48,000 based on the location and industry standards.

About the Role:
- Coordinate the transportation of patients to and from the Radiology Department
- Ensure that patients are transported safely and efficiently
- Provide accurate documentation of patient medical records

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the transportation of patients to and from the Radiology Department
- Ensure that patients are transported safely and efficiently
- Apply proper body mechanics while lifting, pulling, and pushing patients and equipment during patient transfer and transport

Requirements:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience with patient care in a hospital setting
- Excellent communication skills
- American Heart Association Healthcare provider course with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required to be initially completed with the GHS Staff Development Office within 30 calendar days of hire date
