Position: Engineering Project Manager

Overview

As an Engineering Project Manager at Rose International, you will oversee the planning and execution of product development initiatives within the Connector Product Design team. Your role will involve coordinating the design and production of various connectors (such as USB, HDMI, Power, Lightning, etc.) for a diverse range of client products. You will drive daily operations to ensure alignment with overall project goals, emphasizing mechanical engineering design, development strategy, and validation processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily project activities to ensure adherence to timelines and objectives from development through to ramp-up.
  • Facilitate the development process by establishing an efficient workflow within the team.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules.
  • Effectively allocate resources to ensure timely project completion.
  • Prioritize tasks across multiple programs with varying complexities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious cost, schedule, and quality targets.
  • Lead communication efforts between project teams and external partners, implementing risk mitigation strategies and resolving issues promptly.
  • Provide clear status updates and highlight potential challenges to stakeholders.
  • Analyze technical challenges and drive resolution by engaging key decision-makers.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, presentation, and leadership abilities.
  • Skilled in filtering and presenting relevant information to diverse audiences.
  • Self-driven and proactive with proven critical thinking skills.
  • Familiarity with rapid development cycles and adaptability in uncertain situations.
  • Ability to identify challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience collaborating with product design, operations, cross-functional teams, and managing international suppliers.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of combined experience in project management and mechanical engineering, delivering high-quality products made from various materials.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
