Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our company, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with our patients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision
  • Processing prescriptions, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs
  • Verifying medicine is correct and checking for possible interactions
  • Providing excellent customer service and developing strong relationships with customers
  • Participating in inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals
  • Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance of the pharmacy department
