DataStage Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled DataStage Developer to join our team at Syntricate Technologies. As a DataStage Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using DataStage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop data integration solutions using DataStage
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into various systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data integration solutions
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in data engineering involving analytics-focused data warehouse environments
  • Strong knowledge of DataStage and experience with Snowflake
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3, AWS CLI, and RDS
  • Knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, and ETL skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Bitbucket or Gitlab including deployment pipelines
  • Understanding of data transformations, cleansing, and deduplications
  • Experience developing pipelines for both Cloud and Hybrid Cloud infrastructures
  • Intermediate knowledge of statistics and skills with exploratory data analysis using Python or R
  • Experience with machine learning techniques using SAS or other statistical programming packages
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
