Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Supervisor

Capital One is seeking a highly skilled Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Supervisor to join our team. As an AML Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial systems and protecting our customers from financial crimes.

About the Role

The AML Supervisor will oversee various AML processes, including suspicious activity investigations, currency transaction reporting, global sanctions screening, and enhanced due diligence. You will work closely with AML Process Managers to perform critical functions and coach your team on AML processes through training and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Supervise daily workflow, operational queues, and metrics
  • Team Management: Manage, develop, train, coach, and lead a team of investigators
  • Performance Reviews: Write and deliver performance reviews and provide continuous coaching to associates
  • Reporting: Report potential findings to management in a timely manner
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Conduct, review, and evaluate findings using AML/KYC/CIP knowledge
  • Direction and Assistance: Provide direction and assistance on AML related issues/investigations
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 1 year of Anti-Money Laundering experience within financial services
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree
    • 4 years of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) experience within the financial services industry
    • 2 years of people management experience
    • 2 years of Microsoft Office Suite, or 2 years of Google Suite experience
    • 1 year of Process management experience
    • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification
