Job Title: Staff Software Engineer

As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing cloud-based software applications and microservices that support the operation and growth of our business.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop solutions for complex enterprise-scale business problems, leveraging your expertise in commercial software engineering, problem-solving, data structures, algorithms, patterns, and concurrency.
  • Collaborate with architects and software engineers to introduce new technologies and drive improvements to software engineering practices, ensuring the adoption of leading-edge technologies.
  • Research and recommend innovative solutions to complex problems, and lead the adoption of new technologies to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Invest in yourself and others through learning and mentorship, ensuring a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of software development and/or architecture experience, with a strong foundation in commercial software engineering.
  • Experience as a senior developer that has shipped enterprise-grade software using programming languages such as C#, Java, Kotlin, Golang, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with asynchronous, event-based systems design and architecture using tools like MSMQ, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
  • Practical knowledge of Kubernetes microservice orchestration patterns and experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of APM platforms such as New Relic, Data Dog, and Splunk.
  • Healthcare technology experience and experience with agile methodologies.

We offer a competitive salary range of $128,500 to $223,900, with opportunities for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
