Physiatrist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physiatrist to join our team at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will evaluate patients, plan, and administer patient treatments to improve physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions. This will involve providing therapy to patients utilizing self-care tasks, work skills, muscle re-education, and therapeutic activities.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans to improve physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions.
  • Administer patient treatments, including therapy and rehabilitation services.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
  • 1-3 years of experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification.
  • Maryland Physical Therapist License.
