Job Summary:

As a skilled Inspector - 2nd Shift, you will be responsible for inspecting visually in-process and completed Cable Inspections using predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications. You will work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists. Your attention to detail and proficiency in interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents, and work instructions will be essential in identifying non-conformances and ensuring quality control. You will also communicate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management when resolving quality issues. This role requires a strong background in the manufacturing process of Cables Inspections and experience with soldered and crimp inspection on cables using IPC-A-620 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect visually in-process and completed Cable Inspections using predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications.
• Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
• Work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists.
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
• Perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed.
• Identify non-conformances and ensure quality control.
• Communicate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management when resolving quality issues.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or inspection role.
• Strong background in the manufacturing process of Cables Inspections.
• Experience with soldered and crimp inspection on cables using IPC-A-620 standards.
• Proficiency in interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents, and work instructions.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with using Personal Computers and newer applications.
