Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at HERO Health Staffing Corporation. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and Equip Exam Rooms: Ensure that exam rooms are prepared and equipped to meet the needs of requested examinations and specific physician requirements.
  2. Organize Daily Work Schedule: Organize and prioritize daily work schedules to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  3. Integrate Patient Information: Integrate previous imaging studies, laboratory results, patient history, and medical records to optimize exam procedures.
  4. Perform Examinations: Perform radiographic examinations, applying appropriate infection control and radiation safety measures.
  5. Provide Patient Education: Educate patients on examination procedures, provide instructions, and offer training/education to staff and students as needed.
  6. Adapt Exams to Patient Needs: Demonstrate ability to adapt exam procedures to address problems of patient care as they arise.
  7. Perform Surgical X-Ray Examinations: Perform surgical x-ray examinations, utilizing appropriate radiation safety measures and adhering to AORN standards.
  8. Perform Other Patient Care Activities: Perform other patient care activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned, consistent with Caregivers' scope of practice, training, experience, and license/certification/registration.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology program required. ARRT (R) Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist is required.
  • Experience and Skills: Demonstrated venipuncture competency, PACS/RIS knowledge, and ImageCast/CareCast experience preferred. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at date of hire.
Compensation

$25-36/hour
