Job Summary:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at BAYADA Home Health Care, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve optimal physical wellbeing. You will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to provide treatment, tests, client education, and interventions tailored to each client's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories

Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical wellbeing by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist

Implement individualized care plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions

Educate and instruct clients, family members, and other representatives in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living

Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management

Requirements:

Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Hawaii

Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or two years of experience as a PTA with a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam

Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
