Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at Soliant. This position will involve working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade across multiple school buildings. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their full potential by providing high-quality speech and language services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs, and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) to address these needs.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions, to help them develop effective communication skills.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success, and maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided.
  • Professional Development: Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to stay up-to-date on best practices in speech and language therapy.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: For SLP: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current state licensure in Indiana, and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred. For SLPA: Bachelors or Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program, and current state certification or licensure in Indiana as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Skills and Attributes: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work effectively with a diverse student population, organizational skills and attention to detail, and ability to travel between multiple school sites.
