Speech Language Therapist Opportunity in Dickinson, North Dakota

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Dickinson, North Dakota. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to work with a reputable organization and gain valuable experience.
About the Job- This position requires assessing patient needs, planning, evaluating, and modifying care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
- The ideal candidate will provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders and teach patients how to make sounds, improve their voices, or increase their oral or written language skills to communicate more effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
- Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
- Teach individuals how to strengthen muscles or use compensatory strategies to swallow without choking or inhaling food or liquid.
Requirements:
- Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist/SLP or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist/SLP.
- At least one year of professional working experience.
- Must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current CPR certification.
- Must have CCC's.
- Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.
