Traveling Labor and Delivery Nurse

Job Summary:
Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and Develop Patient Care Plans: Conduct thorough assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Deliver compassionate and professional care to patients, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing emotional support.
- Collaborate with Medical Staff: Work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Manage Patient Flow: Efficiently manage patient flow, including prioritizing tasks, managing time, and delegating responsibilities as needed.
- Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
- Skills: Excellent communication and listening skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Education: Current RN licensure and certification in Labor and Delivery.
