Job Title: Bartender The Bistro

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott Grand Rapids Downtown. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve drinks according to Marriott standards and AHC specifications
  • Engage with guests, start conversations, and provide a positive experience
  • Help servers when needed and maintain a team environment in the Bistro
  • Set up and break down the Bistro area, following daily checklists
  • Know and understand all menu items and ingredients
  • Explain and maintain QA specs, teach correct service lingo, and follow Health Department standards
Requirements:
  • Previous restaurant experience required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods
