The Security Specialist at Trinity Health performs critical security work in the protection of person, property, and the enforcement of all applicable policies, rules, and regulations of the department, Hospital, and any applicable federal, state, or local laws to prevent unauthorized access, maintain a safe environment, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with hospital departments to develop and implement security protocols and procedures.
- Investigate security incidents and develop reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and education to staff on security policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in security or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
