The Registered Nurse (RN) holds a current state nursing license and is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients. Utilizing specialized knowledge and skills, the RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care tailored to individual needs.
Develops and coordinates interdisciplinary care plans for assigned patients in collaboration with healthcare team members and families. Communicates care plans effectively to all involved associates, prioritizing care based on patient assessments. Provides clear instructions to patients and families regarding treatment, ensuring family involvement in care processes. Recognizes and addresses diverse patient needs stemming from behavioral health issues or cultural backgrounds. Demonstrates critical thinking and accountability in meeting unit needs. Accurately documents nursing processes and evaluations in accordance with hospital policies. Acts as a mentor for new staff and contributes to the professional development of colleagues. Takes responsibility for personal professional growth and development. Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited nursing program Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Current Ohio RN License Preferred: 1 year of experience in Med Surg
